TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE

1: SOFTWARE LISCENCING

All websites provided by Invasion are built using 'SOCKET', this is a website management software package developed in house for use by our customers.

1. Each website comes with a single-use licence which can only be used on an Invasion server and installed and upgraded by a member of Invasion's technical staff. Transferring the licence to another server is not possible.

Every time an upgrade is made to the core program of SOCKET all subscribers will receive it, upgrades are carried out as staged roll-outs and are on a first-come, first served basis, details of upgrades will be made available on our website. If you are waiting for an upgrade and would like to know when your roll-out is scheduled for please contact us and we will let you know. If you are not a subscriber upgrades can be provided to you at extra cost.

4. As with all software packages, bugs and glitches can appear on the site, these are repaired as soon as they are discovered and the appropriate fixes are rolled out as maintenance updates. If a particular bug is preventing you from using your site effectively please contact us and we will try to make your roll-out a priority. (If you are not a subscriber you will only be entitled to maintenance updates within the first year)

2: WEBSITE MANAGEMENT

1. Invasion media agrees to manage your website for the lifetime of your subscription. Managed services do not include the following:

   1. Copy Writing

   2. Paid-Marketing

   3. 3^rd Party Software installations

   4. Media creation / Sourcing

2. All subscribers are entitled to free website design/restructuring, however a fair-use policy applies, this will be at our discretion and is there to ensure that customers do not abuse this service.

3. All bolt-on installation fees are covered by the subscription price, customers will only have to pay for the bolt-ons themselves

3: FEES AND PRICING

1. Subscribers will pay a set fee of £150 per calendar month for the first year of their contract, this will then be reduced to £100 per calendar month for each subsequent year.

2. The yearly subscription option is payable in advance before the site goes on-line, additional bolt-ons purchased during or after the website launch must also be paid for in advance. Customers may switch to monthly subscription at the end of their pre-paid term. No refunds are available for this option.

3. Non-subscribers will pay a pre-arranged price, this payment must be made in full before your any work is carried out.

4. Additional services (such as bolt-ons) will be charged accordingly, subscribers can add the cost of these services on to their subscription fee (e.g. a bolt-on costing £120 will add £10 per month to your fee)

5. If your contract ends within the first year, your websites and all elements within it which have been designed by Invasion media return to us as our intellectual property. These designs will then be resold to another party at a reduced rate.
   

4: TIMES AND AVAILABILITY

1. Times for completion will be pre-agreed with the customer, however if these time-scales are not met, Invasion media hold no responsibility for any inconvenience caused. If the time-scales are missed by an excessive amount then remuneration may be given at our discretion.

2. A representative of Invasion media can be contacted during standard office hours, all messages will be replied to within 2 working days.

3. Out of ours appointments can be made if required but these appointments cannot be guaranteed.

5: NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT

As with all companies, occasions may arise where customers may be entitled to a reduced fee, these discounts are made at the companies discretion and are by no means a guaranteed price, we do ask that clients do not share pricing information with others, please do not assume that if someone you know paid less for our services, that you will entitled to the same discount.
